Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients ready to give inform consent patient of age group between 18years to 70 years of either gender patients of American society anesthesiology grade 1 and 2 patients plannded elective surgery under local anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The patients falling within American society anesthesiology grade 3 and 4 those who are under 18 years and above 70 years pregnant womens mentally retarded patients

Primary

MeasureTime frame
successful and timely completion of minor surgical procedures by means of effective ayurvedic sedationTimepoint: from commencement of sedation and during procedure in between 10 minutes 25 minutes 45 minutes 65 minutes and 90 minutes intraoperatively

MeasureTime frame
total alcoholic extract of bhanga leaves required to achieve sedative effect in patients degree of sedation by RASS scale hemodynamic indices including systolic blood pressure diastolic blood pressure pulse rate respiration rate and anxiety scoring occurrence of any adverse events and duration of stay Timepoint: from commencement of sedation and during procedure in between 10 minutes 25 minutes 45 minutes 65 minutes and 90 minutes intraoperatively observation of sedative effect postoperatively
