Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Consenting adult patients with age = 18 year of either gender belonging to ASA physical status I/II/III having an anticipated difficult laryngoscopy/bag-mask ventilation/intubation where the attending anaesthesiologist is comfortable to perform intubation after induction of general anaesthesia will be included.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Attending anaesthesiologist prefers awake intubation 2. Congenital causes of difficult airway like Pierre Robin syndrome, Treacher Collins syndrome, Down’s syndrome, Goldenhar’s syndrome, achondroplasia etc. 3. Full stomach patients like elective or emergency cesarean section, perforation peritonitis, abdominal trauma etc. 4. Patients with history of gastro esophageal reflux disease, hiatus hernia 5. Patients with upper airway obstruction or nasal pathology precluding the use of nasal prongs
