Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Women with Type 2 diabetes as per ADA criteria , between the ages of 20 and 45 , with regular ( ovulatory) menstrual cycles

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. Women with irregular menstrual cycles b. Women taking hormonal contraception c. Pregnancy d. Breast feeding mothers e. Thyroid function abnormality f. Untreated or inadequately treated hypothyroidism. g. HbA1C > 8 h. eGFR i. Prednisone use for more than 10 days during the study
