Intervention1: Ice pack(Cold temperature) application: Ice pack(cold temperature) will be applied on the closed eyelid for 3 minutes and lacrimation secretion will be measured. Control Intervention1:

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with the symptoms of the dryness such as burning sensation, scratchiness, heaviness. 2.Age above 18 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Conditions which causes excessive reflex lacrimation (more than 25 mm ) which includes Active ocular inflammatory conditions of eyes like conjunctivitis, uveitis,keratitis, dacroadenitis, evaporative dry eye disease etc. 2. History of trauma or chemical injury 3. Known case of glaucoma or High Intraocular pressure 4. Any infective disease of the cornea and conjuctiva 5. Severe co-morbidities like congestive heart failure, pulmonary disease, renal disease , uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes etc.
