Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patient with written informed consent 2 Either gender 3 Short elective surgery lasting less than 1 hr (Excision Biopsy of lump, Hysteroscopic Endometrial Sampling , fractional curettage etc ) 4 19 ââ?¬â?? 60 years of age 5 ASA physical status 1 and 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patient refusal 2 Pregnancy 3 Alcohol and drug abusers 4 Patients allergic to drugs involved 5 Cardiovascular diseases 6 Respiratory diseases 7 Significant Neurological illnesses like Epilepsy 8 Hepatic and Renal diseases 9 Emergency surgeries 10 BMI > 30 11 Anticipated difficult intubation such as Modified mallampatti grade III, IV and Thyromental distance 12 Existence of a considerable pathology in the larynx or pharynx 13 Known allergy to local anaesthetics
