Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients ( >18 years) newly diagnosed with cancer (non-hematological tumors treated with a ‘curative’ intent or those in whom the expected survival is at least one year) who are willing to participate in the study and fulfilling the eligibility criteria within one week of initiation of treatment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have had any form of cancer-directed treatment prior to presentation to JIPMER 2. Patients who are planned only for supportive care without cancer-directed treatment 3. Patients who are planned for enrolment in clinical trials

MeasureTime frame
Primary: status of Treatment abandonment Timepoint: Primary outcome: every 4 weeks/visits either till completion of treatment or 6 months post initiation of treatment whichever comes earlier

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
non-adherance survivalTimepoint: 1. Non-adherance: every week/visist either till the completion of treatment or 6 months post initiation of treatment whichever comes earlier 2. Survival: 12 months(end of 1 year) post initiation of treatment
