Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Preoperative presence of a deep carious lesion 2.Systemically healthy co-operative patient 3.Permanent tooth with deep dentinal carious lesions 4.Positive response to thermal and electric pulp tests 5. Sensitivity to cold food and/or food lodegment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Continuous or spontaneous pain 2.Presence of a swelling or a sinus tract adjacent to the tooth 3.Tenderness on percussion 4.Pathologic tooth mobility 5.Excessive hemorrhage from exposure site indicating progressive inflammation or requiring pulpotomy, Radiolucency in periapical or furcation area, external or internal resorption, and obliteration of canal
