Inclusion criteria: PATIENTS FOR ELECTIVE SURGERY PLANNED UNDER GENERAL ANAESTHESIA OF AMERICAN SOCIETY OF ANAESTHESIOLOGIST (ASA) PHYSICAL STATUS I AND II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ANTICIPATED DIFFICULT AIRWAY MORBID OBESITY ASA PHYSICAL STATUS III AND IV KNOWN CASE OF HYPERTENSION DRUG ALLERGY TO ANY ANAESTHETIC MEDICATION PREGNANT PATIENTS

TO EVALUATE THE EFFICACY Heart rate, blood pressure (systolic, diastolic, mean arterial pressure) will be recorded after use OF ORAL GABAPENTIN 900 MG as premedication 90 min before induction FOR ATTENUATION OF HEMODYNAMIC RESPONSE TO LARYNGOSCOPY AND TRACHEAL INTUBATIONTimepoint: Heart rate, blood pressure (systolic, diastolic, mean arterial pressure) will be recorded after induction After induction (just before intubation),,just after intubation , and then sequentially at first ,3rd,5th,7th and 10th min following intubation and will be recorded as Ti ,T0i, T1i, T3i,T5i,T7i,T10i	—
