Intervention1: Full enteral feeds (FEF): The intervention group will recieve full enteral feeding as per the babies fluid requirement for the day, on day 1 as 80 ml/kg/day, increased by 20 ml/kg/day t

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: birth weight between 1000-1250 grams all inborn neonates started on feeds within 48 hours of life

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.major congenital malformations like duodenal atresia, 2. chromosomal abnormalities, perinatal asphyxia APGAR 4. invasive ventilation with shock on inotropes 5. absent or reversal of end diastolic flow
