| To Compare Perfusion Index to other clinical methods to determine successful supraclavicular block in adult patients undergoing upperlimb surgeryTimepoint: Perfusion index will be recorded at baseline,at every 2 minutes till 10 minutes and then every 5 minutes till 20 minutes and at 30 minutes after the block 2.Sensory and motor block will be evaluated every 2 minutes till 10 minutes and then every 5 minutes till 20 minutes and at 30 minutes after the block | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1.Determine the cutoff value of PI as an indicator of successful block 2.Subjective methods to detect successfulblock, sensory and motor blockade( pin prick method and modified Bromage Scale) 3.Correlate the subjective methods (Sensory and motor blockade) to objective method (variation in PI)Timepoint: 1.Perfusion index will be recorded at baseline,at every 2 minutes till 10 minutes and then every 5 minutes till 20 minutes and at 30 minutes after the block 2.Sensory and motor block will be evaluated every 2 minutes till 10 minutes and then every 5 minutes till 20 minutes and at 30 minutes after the block | — |
