Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a) Patients with sickle cell trait and Disease . b) Hemoglobin more than 6gm/dl. c) Age group in between 10 to 50 years. d) Patient not having any bleeding disorder . e) Hemoglobin less than 12gm/dl.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a) Age less than 10 and more than 50 years. b) Haemoglobin less than 6 gm/dl. c) Anaemia induced by drugs. d) Anaemia associated with underlying diseases like malignancy and any life threatening condition. e) Pregnant and lactating women. f) Patients taking immune suppressive medicines like steroids etc. g) Patients having viral hepatitis, aplastic anaemia, osteoporosis, osteopenia .

1.To decrease the sign symptom like Panduta,Sadana,Angamarda,Daurbalya etc. 2.To increase the value of hemoglobin percentage in sickle cell anemia.Timepoint: 30 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Sigru leaves powder may be more effective than sigru bark powder individually.Timepoint: 30 days
