Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: According to modified NCEP-ATP III guidelines. Patient showing at least the presence of three criteria out of five diagnostic criteria of Metabolic syndrome. Waist Circumference in males >40 inches. And in females > 35 inches. Blood Pressure >130/85 mm of Hg. Fasting Triglycerides >150 mm of Hg. Fasting Blood Sugar > 100 mg/dl. Fasting HDL in Males < 40 mg/dl and in Females < 50mg/dl.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients below 20 years and above 60 years. Congenital Heart diseases. Juvenile Diabetes. Patients with conduction problems. Athletes or bodybuilders having muscular hypertrophy. Controlled patients Group - Patients not included in Metabolic syndrome as per diagnostic criteria. Patients may show the presence of any one or two diagnostic criteria.
