Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients suffering from localized or generalized, mild to moderate chronic periodontitis with pocket probing depth as 4-6mm detectable in at least one tooth in each quadrant, Willing to comply with the study related procedures

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Smokers, pregnant and lactating women, patients with any history of systemic diseases/conditions e.g. uncontrolled DM, chronic rheumatoid arthritis, steroid therapy, autoimmune diseases etc, Patients who have received treatment for periodontitis in the last 6 months, Patients on antibiotic therapy past 6 month, refusal or inability to give informed consent
