Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: In this study we will evaluate data from practice records of more than one thousand ( >1000) subjects with bilateral knee OA treatment with at least three injections of VS in both the knee. Adults with bilateral severe knee OA with functional reduction and radiological KL Grade of III and IV, who completed three injections of VS in both the knee.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To determine the long term sustained effects of Viscosupplementation (VS) with various types of Intra-Articular Hyaluronic Acids (IAHA) in bilateral Knee Osteoarthritis (OA) in maintaining functional improvement of the knees and evaluating the duration of effect of the first and repeat injections of VS.Timepoint: Entry - First IAHA injection. First Follow up - At the time of Second IAHA injection End point - At the time of Third IAHA injection The duration of the time points is expected to be different for different types of VS and severity of the disease.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To determine the required interval between follow up injections in various types of VS.Timepoint: Entry - at the time of First IAHA injection First outcome - Interval between I and II IAHA Injections Final outcome - Interval between II and III IAHA Injections; To see if any radiographic arrest of disease progression can be documented.Timepoint: Available X rays at entry, time of second injection and at the time of third injection will be compared.
