Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. age 18- 60 yrs of either gender 2. ASA category I and II 3. undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery under general anaesthesia 4. hemodynamically stable 5. declared fit in pre anaesthetic check-up.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. The patients in ASA III and IV category. 2. Having some significant neurological, psychiatric,neuromuscular, cardiovascular, pulmonary, renal or hepatic disease. 3. having any anatomical abnormality. 4. with history of any other biliary tract surgery. 5. having infection at the site of injection. 6. already a diagnosed case of Chronic pain syndrome or on any prolonged opioid therapy. 7. having any coagulopathy. 8. received any analgesia in last 24 hours before surgery. 9. having history of any lower abdominal surgery (adhesions may be present). 10. Patient with history of previous or at present known case of psychiatric illness. 11. Patients having allergy to the study medication. 12. Surgeries started laparoscopic but converted to open surgery in-between . 13. surgical time of laparoscopic surgery exceed 2 hours will be exempted from the study.

| The aim of our study is to compare the two approaches of subcostal transverse abdominis plane block- laparoscopy guided v/s ultrasound guided for postoperative analgesia in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery. success rate of the block will be assessed given before extubation, and after extubation assesed at time interval specified.Timepoint: 2 hours | — |
