Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.ASA physical status I and II 2.Age between 18 to 60 years.�  3.Body mass index 18-35kg/m2 4.Patients undergoing open unilateral inguinal hernia surgery under spinal anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient refusal 2.Infection at needle insertion site 3.Coagulopathy 4.Patients with acute or chronic pain, currently using analgesics 5.Hepatic or renal failure 6.Allergic to local anaesthetics 7.Patients allergic to inj diclofenac sodium Psychiatric illness
