Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: During a study period of four weeks, all newly admitted adult patients in participating ICU will be considered for inclusion in the study if they meet any one of the below criteria 1. Patients having artificial airways with or without the need for mechanical ventilation 2. Patients requiring non-invasive ventilation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: AGE <18 YEARS
