Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients > 50 years. 2. Written informed consent. 3. Patients presented with AUR due to BPH
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with initial catheterization volume >1000 ml 2. Bladder stones 3. Renal impairment 4. Suspected urethral stricture 5. Neurogenic bladder 6. Cancer prostate 7. Medically induced retention 8. Previous use of alpha-blockers 9. Chronic retention 10. Hydroureteronephrosis on ultrasonography (USG)
