Interventions

Intervention1: Dry Needling and Myofascial Release: In Dry Needling, Needles utilized were 0.26x25mm. Insertion of needles is towards the direction of trigger point. Introduction of needles to 5-10mm

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age group 19-40 2.Both Males and Females 3.BMI-(18.5-24.9kg/m) 4.Unilateral/ Bilateral pain on upper trapezius and suboccipital muscles 5.Pain intensity on Visual Analogue scale (VAS >3) 6.Pain Pressure Threshold of intensity of 5 on 21- point numerical pain rating scale 7.Headache impact score more than 50 or more 8.Headache disability scoring 50-68 ( moderate disability)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects with History of trauma(fractures) 2. Temporomandibular Disorders 3. Needle Phobia 4. Systemic Lupus arthritis and Fibromyalgia 5. Subjects with any Inflammatory Pathology, malignancy , previous spinal surgery , history of orthopedic, neurological and cardiovascular disorder
