Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Any patient who is undergoing colonoscopy for any indication as per prescription of his/her physician. Only those patients, in whom CRP is found during colonoscopy, will be included in the study. All patients will be prepared for colonoscopy as per standard bowel cleansing preparation 4-liter split dose of Polyethylene glycol.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Poor colonic preparation (Boston bowel preparation score <6)

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Development of a comprehensive AI system for real time automatic detection and characterization of colorectal polyps with reasonably high accuracy (sensitivity and specificity more than or equal to 90 %, and area under receiver operator curve more than or equal to 0.95).Timepoint: 24 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To achieve low mean processing time (latency of less than 10 milli seconds) to be useful for real life colonoscopy. Development of a low-cost embedded system based AI system for real time automatic detection and characterization of colorectal polyps with reasonably high accuracy. Timepoint: 24 months
