Inclusion criteria: For Case subjects: Neonates admitted to NICU, KMC, Manipal with diagnosis of culture positive sepsis IUGR Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy Babies on ventilators and NIV For Control subjects: Neonates admitted to NICU, KMC, Manipal without sepsis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Infants with congenital malformations Critically congenital heart diseases Genetic syndromes
