Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)age >15years in both sexes. 2)Characteristic abdominal pain. 3)Increased levels of Serum amylase and/or lipase 3 times the normal value. 4)Ultrasonography of the abdomen demonstrating changes showing acute pancreatitis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Proven cases of chronic pancreatitis. 2) Age 3) Hereditary pancreatitis 4) Patient with co-morbidities like COPD, renal impairment, immunosuppressive state, CAD. 5) Pancreatic abscess. 6) Pancreatic pseudocyst
