Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 35-55 years, of both males and females. 2. Generalised chronic periodontitis with �20 remaining teeth. 3. Probing pocket depth (PPD) �5mm. 4. Radiographic evidence of bone loss and an evident clinical attachment loss. 5. Systemically healthy subjects. 6. Consenting patient who are co-operative and able to come for regular follow up.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with the history of periodontal therapy within 6 months prior to the study. 2. Patients who are on antibiotic therapy in the previous 3 months 3. Smoking 4. Alcoholism 5. Pregnant and lactating women
