Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: i. Individuals between the ages of 18-50 years ii. Those fulfilling the ROME-IV criteria for IBS iii. Those who have experienced at least 1 episode of irritable bowel syndrome in the past 1 year iv. Those who can read, write and speak Kannada or English

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: i. Participants with a history psychotic disorders, substance dependence, or bipolar affective disorder ii. Those with any known major physical or neurological disorders
