Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients are selected presenting symptoms of Sciatica. 2. Patients above 20 years and less than 70 years age. 3. Newly diagnosed case (within one year). 4. Clinical symptoms with or without radiological changes. 5. Patients with classical sign and symptoms of Gridhrasi (Sciatica) as described in Ayurveda text and modern literature. a.Ruka (Pain) b.Toda (Pricking sensation) c.Stambha (Feeling of tightness and rigidity throughout the leg) d.Spandana (Throbbing/Pulsating pain) e.Sakthikshepa Nigraha (Restricted movement of the affected limb) f.Tandra (Drowsiness) g.Aruchi (Anorexia) h.Tenderness

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with age less than 20 years & greater than 70 years. 2. Patients suffering from post-surgical conditions of lumber spine. 3. Fracture related to spine. 4. Uncontrolled Diabetes mellitus, Hypertension, Tuberculosis of spine and hip joint, Malignancy of spine or other organs. 5. Cardiac disease (Ischemic heart disease, Coronary artery disease, Myocardial infarction etc) 6. Patients with infective, neoplastic condition of spine. 7. Pregnant females and lactating mothers. 8.
