Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Next of Kin of Patients dying in ED within 12hrs of their arrival Death declared by an emergency physician Next of kin of patient is present Age of kin > 18yrs Tamil speaking next of kin
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Age of non-survivor less than 12 years Next of kin who give DNR consent for their ward Patient was an organ donor Pregnancy deaths Failure to adhere to three-pronged communication strategy
