Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of either gender requiring endotracheal intubation in ICU for mechanical ventilation. Age above 18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: obstetric patients non consenting patients and patients attendant cardiac arrest patients needing urgent tracheal intubation
