Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age group of 6 to 12 years first permanent bilateral mandibular molars that have partially or completely erupted with fissures either intact,sound or retentive which are stain or calcified but not caries Normal healthy children The willingness of patient to accept the treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: special child,a child with compromised systemic health long-term medication affecting the salivary flow children enrolled for other studies or fluoridation program adverse reaction reported to any dental material uncooperative child

MeasureTime frame
considering dropout rates to 10 percent sample size will be 52 subjects and outcome is to compare and evaluate the clinical efficiency of conventional pit and fissure sealant and self etching self adhering flowable composite as a pit and fissure sealant at 3,6 and 12 months of interval. Timepoint: at 3 months,6 month 12 months

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate clinically the marginal discoloration,marginal adaptation,retention,caries formation and surface roughness of pit and fissure sealant and self etching self adhering flowable composite as a pit sealant.Timepoint: 3,6 and 12 months
