Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: �Children with mild intellectual disability as specified by the Diagnostic and statistical manual 5th edition classification given by the American Psychiatric Association. �Children with Intelligence Quotient in the range of 55-69. �Healthy cooperative children. �Children aged 6-14 years. �Minimum one carious tooth (under ICDAS score 3-6) requiring restorative treatment. �Children whose parents/guardians have given the consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ââ?¬Â¢Children with moderate, severe, profound and unspecified intellectual disability based on DSM ââ?¬â?? 5 classifications given by American Psychiatric Association. ââ?¬Â¢Children with Intelligence Quotient below 55. ââ?¬Â¢Children with hearing and visual impairment. ââ?¬Â¢Children who are medically compromised children, history of seizures and under anti-anxiety medications. ââ?¬Â¢Teeth with a longstanding history of pain, showing pulp exposure, abscess or fistula and with ICDAS scores 0-2.
