Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Those individuals with mean age ranging from 21-60 years old. 2. Periodontitis patients with probing pocket depths > 5mm after phase I therapy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients who are not willing to participate in the study 2.Individuals with any form of systemic illness 3. Smokers 4. Pregnant and lactating women. 5. Those individuals who had undergone recent periodontal treatment 6. Those who were under antibiotic therapy in the recent 6 months.
