Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients of age group between 18 and 60 years American Society of Anaesthesiologists physical status I and II Patients with Modified Mallampati Grade I and II Patients undergoing elective surgeries under general anaesthesia with endotracheal intubation in supine position lasting upto 2 hours
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients undergoing emergency surgery. Patients who are unable to give consent. Patients with contraindication to general anaesthesia. Patients with H/o preoperative sore throat, upper respiratory tract infection, bronchial asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Patients with known allergy to study drug. Pregnant patients Chronic smokers Patients undergoing oral, nasal, head and neck surgeries
