Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients of Eclampsia admitted in our hospital during the study period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients of Eclampsia with additional pathology such as renal disease or renal failure , encephalopathy, chronic liver disease , chronic lung disease and Eclampsia patients who have received any other anticonvulsant other than magnesium sulfate

Age , parity, type of Eclampsia,mean arterial blood pressure , number of seizures preadmission, proteinuria (dipstick), total dose of magnesium sulfate use,start of breastfeeding,pain and abscess formation at injection site , duration of stay in hospital,No.of health care staff, duration after which recurrence of seizures occurred,deathTimepoint: till discharge of the patient
