Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients belonging to ASA 1&2 category, between the age of 18 to 70 years and both sexes undergoing elective surgery requiring endotracheal intubation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients in ASA 3&4 category, age < 18 years, connective tissue disorders affecting the spine, obvious abnormality of the airway, and pregnant females.

To evaluate the ability to predict the difficulty of laryngoscopy in limited cervical extension patients from the following preoperative airway predictive indices, Ratio of Neck circumference to inter incisor gap ratio (RNIIG), Modified Mallampati test (MMT), Thyro mental distance(TMD), Neck circumference(NC).Timepoint: From preoperative airway assessment to completion of laryngoscopy.
