Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age 1-15 years Consenting Either gender Moderate to severe TBI (GCS: 3-13)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with polytrauma Patients with any known chronic disease like malignancy, neurological disorders, inborn errors of metabolism or congenital heart disease Patients on any chronic medications Nonconsenting patients Patients unlikely to survive beyond 24 hours of admission.

To find incidence and type of micronutrient deficiency in paediatric patients with moderate to severe TBI (Serum levels of Vitamin A, vitamin B12, Folate, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E and Iron, Zinc, Magnesium and Carnitine will be measured on Day 1, 3,7 and 10 of TBI ) 2. Association of micronutrient deficiency with in hospital mortality 3. Association of micronutrient deficiency with the duration of mechanical ventilation in days during hospital stay 4. Association of micronutrient deficiency with nosocomial infection rates during hospital stay 5. Association of micronutrient deficiency with the duration of hospital stay in days 6.
