A drug (ONDANSETRON), used in treatment of vomiting, has been shown to prevent fall in blood pressure after spinal anesthesia. This study identifies efficacy of ONDANSETRON in preventing fall in blood pressure after spinal anesthesia in pregnant women coming for cesarean operation.

EFFICACY OF ONDANSETRON IN PREVENTING SPINAL ANAESTHESIA INDUCED HYPOTENSION IN LOWER SEGMENT CESAREAN SECTION (LSCS) PATIENTS ; A RANDOMISED CONTROL STUDY

Intervention1: Ondansetron: Patients randomized and fulfilling all criteria will have their vitals and demographic data recorded. Baseline (t0) measurements of SpO2, perfusion index (PI), SBP, DBP, MA
patients who failed to reach at least this level will be excluded from the study, and general anesthesia will then be administered at the attending anesthesiologistâ??s discretion. All hemodynamic pa
