Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age >18 years of age, invasive mechanical ventilation for at least 48 hours and new onset Clinically defined VAP
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pre-existing Healthcare associated pneumonia within last 90 days 2. Community acquired pneumonia 3. Pregnancy 4. Organ transplant 5. Any immunocompromised state
