Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients requiring maxillary first premolar extraction. Good oral hygiene and periodontal health. Patients aged 14 years and above. No developmental anomaly of dento-alveolar structures. No history of previous orthodontic treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of trauma. Patients with systemic illnesses Taking medications that interfere with orthodontic tooth movement Patients with parafunctional habits Severely periodontally compromised. Periapical inflammation of cysts/ tumors.

MeasureTime frame
The efficacy of high frequency vibrations combined with low level laser therapy is expected to be higher than low level laser therapy which is higher than control group which is not receiving any laser or vibration therapy on the levels of Interleukin-1 beta and Interleukin-8 in Gingival Crevicular Fluid.Timepoint: Pre sample of GCF will be compared with GCF sample 3 months post retraction

MeasureTime frame
Group receiving high frequency vibrations combined with low level laser therapy is expected to increase orthodontic tooth movement most followed by group receiving only low level laser therapy followed by control group which is not receiving any laser or vibration therapy.Timepoint: Amount of tooth movement will be checked after 3 months of retraction.
