Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged above 18 years Willing to offer informed consent Having severe periodontitis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: With known history of allergy or hypersensitivity to the drugs in trial Systemic diseases that compromise periodontal host defense mechanism History of use of antimicrobial drugs in the last three months

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Clinical parameters like gingival index, probing pocket depth, clinical attachment loss, bleeding index and bone loss in test and control group will be assessed.Timepoint: Baseline, 6 weeks, 6 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Radiological parameters using CBCT/IOPA will be evaluated at baseline and six months following intervention.Timepoint: Baseline and six months following intervention.
