Intervention1: Diclofenac Sodium: 75mg intramuscularly 12hrly for 24hr Control Intervention1: Pentazocine: 30mg intramuscularly 6hrly for 24hr

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Term pregnant undergoing caesarean section on elective/emergency basis under spinal anaesthesia and willing to give informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a) High risk pregnancy (High risk pregnancy is one which is complicated by factor or factors that adversely affects the pregnancy outcome-maternal or perinatal or both). b) Hypersensitive to diclofenac/pentazocine. c) Branchial Asthma. d) Active peptic ulcer. e) Hypertension. f) Unconscious state g) H/O any type of addiction. h) Chronic kidney disease, chronic liver disease
