Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1-Patients of age group between 21 - 70 years with irrespective of their sex, religion, occupation, education, will be selected for the study. 2-Varicose veins pertaining to lower limbs either unilateral and bilateral. 3-Willing to participate in the clinical trial will be included. 4-CEAP (clinical) classification = 5 (2-5) 5-Disability score up to 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1-Varicose vein due to secondary cause like pregnancy, abdominal mass, DVT, PVD, ascites and congenital ateriovenous malformation. 2-Bleeding disorders and history of antiplatelet therapy. 3-Diabetes, Anemia, generalized edema patients. 4-Known positive cases of HIV, HBsAg etc. 5-Hb% < 10 gm %

Comparative assessment of improvement in clinical conditions of Siraj granthi like pain, heaviness, number of visible dilated veins, discolored skin area, CEAP classification and disbility score as per assessment criteria in both the groups.Timepoint: Improvement will be assessed after commencement of trial i.e 30 days.	—

Secondary

Measure	Time frame
Multiplication of leeches in natural and lab atmosphere and devolving SoP for culture of leeches.Timepoint: At base line, weekly once up to four weeks. Then follow up will be done after 30 days.	—
