Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Healthy children of 3-6 years of age from either gender. 2. Children with ECC - At least one tooth with soft cavitated dentin surfaces receiving score 5 of the ICDAS criteria (Distinct cavitation with visible dentin, involving less than half of a tooth surface)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children who received fluoride topical application during last 3 months. 2. Children with special health care needs. 3. Children who were on antibiotic therapy within past months. 4. Tooth with an abscess, symptoms of irreversible pulpitis, or a mobile tooth. 5. Children with known sensitivity to silver or other heavy metal ion were excluded. 6. Hypoplastic or developmental defects
