Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Impacted Mandibular third molars requiring extraction with CBCT advised by the dept. of Oral Surgery. 2 Third molar extractions done under local anesthesia by any right-handed oral surgery staff member.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Mandibular third molars associated with periapical cyst/tumors, non-odontogenic tumors in the region of interest and fractures 2 Patient with history of hypertension or any other bleeding or clotting disorders.

To synthesize a CBCT based difficulty index.Timepoint: 24 months

1 To study the location, tooth orientation, depth, crestal space available, IAN canal position and its proximity in relation to impacted mandibular third molars. 2 To note the extraction time (in mins), extraction method, surgical complications, if any 3 To correlate above findingsTimepoint: 24 months
