Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Willingness to comply with the study protocol. 2. Participants who were diagnosed with chronic generalized gingivitis. 3. No periodontal therapy rendered within the previous 12 months. 4. Participants with age group of 18-45yrs. 5. Participants with minimum of 20 teeth with mild to moderate gingivitis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Participants suffering from any known systemic diseases. 2. Participants who had received any antibiotic therapy in the last 6 months. 3. Participants who had received any chemotherapeutic mouth rinses or oral irrigation or using any other oral care products during the past one month. 4. Pregnant and lactating participants. 5. Participants who are unable or not willing to comply with the study protocol. 6. Participants who are smokers.
