Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologists physical status I ââ?¬â?? II 2.Patients aged 18-60 years 3.Patients undergoing elective surgery with endotracheal tube and controlled ventilation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnant women 2.Patients with baseline SPO2 less than 95% 3.Head injury patients with GCS less than 8 4.Patients with obstructive sleep apnea

MeasureTime frame
1.To study the efficacy of oxygen supplementation during transport from operating room to postanaesthetic care unit on the SPO2. 2. To determine the risk factors for desaturation. Timepoint: Baseline and regular intervals upto 30 mins
