Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Full-term ( > 37-week gestation) singleton pregnancy with an ASA score of Iâ??II posted for elective LSCS with single shot SAB

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patient height 2)An ASA score of IIIâ??IV 3)Contraindications to spinal anaesthesia 4)Prolonged pregnancy ( > 42 weeks) 5)pregnancy-induced hypertensive disorders 6)Placenta previa, placental abruption 7)Multiple pregnancy 8)Morbid obesity (body mass index [BMI] >=36) 9)Foetal distress or foetal abnormalities 10)Obstructed Labour 11)Patients with history of neck surgery. 12)Patients with rheumatic heart disease or cardiomyopathies. 13)Patients with atherosclerosis 14)Parturient refusal
