Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA Grade 1 and 2 patients, undergoing percutaneous nephrolithotomy surgery, written valid consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients refusal 2.duration of surgery more than 3 hours 3.patient on pain modulating drugs 4.patients with fever 5.acute infections 6.drug allergy 7.compromised cardio-respiratory functions 8.renal or hepatic disease 9.hyperthyroidism 10.psychiatric disorder 11.severe diabetes or autonomic neuropathies 12.Known history of substance or alcohol abuse 13.pregnant patients 14.procedures requiring blood or blood products
