Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To compare the changes in oxygenation in the form of PaO2/FiO2 , pulmonary compliance and haemodynamics in patient who have undergone recruitment maneuvers vs those who did notTimepoint: Primary outcome variables are noted after alveolar recruitment maneuvers after cross clamp release , after sternal closure and in the post operative period | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1)To compare the changes in pulmonary compliance and haemodynamics 2)Time to extubation 3)Time to discharge from ICU 4)Pulmonary complications such as pneumonia , pleural effusion , pneumothoraxTimepoint: Secondary outcome variables are noted until the patient is discharged out of the ICU. | — |
