Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Parturients undergoing caesarian section delivery under spinal anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Unwilling parturients. 2) Placenta praevia 3) Pregnancy induced hypertension, preeclampsia, 4) Arrythmia 5) Cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease, 6) Obesity with a BMI >= 40, 7) Gestational age 41weeks 8) Any fetal complications 9) Severe anemia 10) Patients with any defect involving left fingers hindering use of pulse oximetry 11) Those who fail to attain sensory block up to T6 level.
