Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients of either sex. 2.Age group of less than 1 years. 3.ASA grade I & II. 4.Undergoing elective pediatric surgery requiring endotracheal intubation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Lack of consent by parents/guardian. 2.History of difficult intubation. 3.Children with airway related conditions such as trismus, limited mouth opening, trauma or mass. 4.Risk of gastric aspiration. 5.Children with upper respiratory tract infection 6.If more than 3 attempts taken to intubate than exclude the particular patient.
