Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All ICU patients in age group 18-65 years who require radial artery cannulation for IBP monitoring and frequent ABG analysis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Modified allen test coagulopathy (INR >1.5), Platelet count <70000,peripheral artery disease ,hand deformity ,inadequate circulation to upper extremity infection over injection site .

To compare radial artery diameter in lignocaine +Nitroglycerine with lignicaine alone.Timepoint: Radial artery diameter 3minutes after subcutanous infilteration of drugs

MeasureTime frame
To compare change in radial artery diameter in both groupTimepoint: 3 minutes after subcutanous infilteration of study drug
